Good stay in good location - would recommend

Great location for visiting the opera house which was my main point of call during my trip. Very friendly staff and welcoming staff, the breakfast was great (although a little pricey, but convinient to have it available at the hotel and the variety on offer was very good). I was able to walk to all the main attractions I had booked, and there were a lot of good places to visit in the immediate area. I had a premium room overlooking the canal and I'm glad I opted for this, it made me feel more like I was in Amsterdam specifically. It was nice to look out and see the boats going by and just enjoy being by the water. The rooms are basic but I quite like that about Ibis. A bit of wear and tear showing which is why I marked the rating down to 4 rather than 5, but I would absolutely recommend this hotel for a short stay. As a solo traveller, I also felt safe and supported by the staff when I needed them.

Great hotel, room had a canal view, very clean and tidy, a good reasonably price hotel! Breakfast was nice both continental and some hot food was available. Bar snacks and food was great too. Sadly the bar closed around 10:30pm so we went two doors down to another hotel for drinks and cocktail to around 1:30am!

An ideal hotel perfect for a short stay in Amsterdam. A short walk away from Rembrandt’s museum. All in all it was a good hotel for a decent price and breakfast did the job.l too. I do like a good ibis hotel and always find the service really good and helpful.

We stayed at this Ibis, to celebrate my daughters 18th birthday. And the staff were exceptional, could not do enough for us. Nikos set up an area and decorated it beautifully for us coming down in the morning to celebrate her 18. All the staff here are a credit to Ibis, so helpful and friendly and made our stay amazing. Special thank you to Jose (bar) for your wonderful cocktails and hospitality. Laura , jessica and all the reception staff I cant remember all your names but all of you are amazing and will be coming back.

Poor staff attention

Would have been a 3 if it wasn't for the poor check in experience where the receptionist halted my check in to take a long call. Price level is way beyond the standard the hotel offers. Beers are ok. The rest of this review is just to get to the minimum 200 characters.
